Riggsacre is a lovely spacious home, peacefully located in a quiet lane within 3 minutes walk to the centre of Corbridge. There are 2 luxurious rooms with king size double beds. The 24ft master bedroom has a feature sleigh bed, an en-suite shower and a sitting area overlooking the gardens. The 4-poster bedroom is beautifully decorated and has a large en-suite bathroom with shower.

There is private enclosed parking at Riggsacre and there are many speciality shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants within a short pleasant walk.

Historic Corbridge with its church dating from the 7thC is on the picturesque A68 road and a convenient break between York and Edinburgh. It is an ideal base from which to explore Northumberland and Hadrian's Wall Country, yet only 20 minutes from the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead Metro Centre. Minimum 2 nights.

From A69
Leave A69 at slip road to Corbridge B6529. Enter village and turn left in front of Wheatsheaf Hotel into St Helen's street (one-way). At the end of St Helen's Street turn left and after 300yds turn right into Appletree Lane. Riggsacre is the 3rd house up the hill on the right.

Public Transport Directions

From Corbridge - 0.5 miles
In the centre of the village turn left at the Golden Lion onto Princes Street and Appletree Lane is on the right after 300 yards. Riggsacre is half way up the lane on the right.
