Fishing - Trout fishing at Scaling Dam & Lockwood Beck reservoirs are approximately 5 miles away. Sea fishing from marks on Saltburn Pier, Saltburn Beach, and marks along the coast from South Gare to Whitby. Pary boat fishing available from Whitby Charter Boats.
Gym - Nearby Saltburn Leisure Centre provides a well equipped gymnasium and sauna and swimming baths for a modest charge.
